Switzerland made a huge move against Islamic Sharia Law, approving a referendum that enacts a total ban on Muslim burqas or headcoverings after the Swiss parliament decided a ban would not violate the countrys federal law.
Enraging Muslim activists and provoking an angry response from a key Obama adviser the Swiss also set massive fines for any women who violate the ban.
Offending women could receive a fine of up to $9,828.84 if caught wearing a burqa, which covers their entire body from head to foot.
Those who want to integrate are welcome irrespective of their religion, explained Giorgio Ghiringhelli, who wrote the proposal. But those who rebuff our values and aim to build a parallel society based on religious laws, and want to place it over our society, are not welcome, Breitbart reported.
The Swiss county voted to ban the burqa in 2013, but it was never enforced because tourism industries fear it would keep rich Arab tourists away. However disgust over the proliferation of women in full burquas called niqabs, and increasing security concerns after men and female terrorists have used niqabs to conceal attacks, have led to this overwhelming result.
Muslims are outraged, and one close adviser to Barack Obama attacked the Swiss, alleging racism:
Obama fundraiser and key adviser George Rashidi said ‘Bigotry won in Switzerland…Muslim women must be free to wear the veil”

Free? Seriously? The vast majority of Muslim women are compelled to wear the burqa, often under fear of death. Many Muslim women including in the West have died in family honor killings for refusing or ceasing to wear the burqa or niqab.
And theres no doubt Rashidi was speaking for the president, as Obama also endorsed this misogynistic freedom is his notorious 2009 speech in Cairo:
In 2011, Switzerland toyed with the idea to ban the burqa when the lower parliament backed a resolution called Down With the Masks!
The law is similar to Frances burqa ban, which passed in 2010. The law caused international uproar, but the European Court of Human Rights upheld it in July 2014.
